Monday morning Leesburg will host its traditional Martin Luther King, Jr. “I Have a Dream” Annual March, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the county courthouse.
Each year residents, community groups, churches and others join the march, which progresses from the courthouse lawn to the Douglass Community Center. Many hold banners and signs to commemorate the life of one of the United States’ most well-known and respected civil rights leaders. Once at Douglass, marchers will enjoy presentations from local leaders, refreshments and more.
Residents of all ages are invited to participate.
