The 26th Annual Chocolates Galore & More! event, scheduled for February 15, is YMCA Loudoun County’s largest annual fundraiser, and the number one spot for fantastic appetizers and tantalizing desserts. Best of all, proceeds from the event will benefit needy families in the Loudoun area.

Event attendees will indulge in rich, luscious chocolates, exquisite desserts and mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres prepared by the area’s finest restaurants and caterers, showcased in a competition for Best Presentation and Best Taste (Critic’s Choice will be determined by four local judges and People’s Choice will be judged by event attendees.) Attendees will also enjoy a silent auction, free-flowing champagne, music, dancing and more, all for a great cause.

Chocolates Galore & More! will be held from 7-11 p.m. at West Belmont Place at The National Conference Center in Leesburg, home to Northern Virginia’s largest ballroom.

Tickets are on sale at www.chocolatesgalore.org, or contact the YMCA Loudoun County at 703-777-9622. Tickets are $75 for general admission and $100 for reserved seating—a portion of the ticket price is tax deductible.

Participating judges for the 26th annual event include:

Kimberly Van, marketing director and community manager at Yelp.com.

Chef Danielle Turner, cooking instructor, food writer and food stylist. She teaches the ABCs of cooking at www.cookingclarified.com and has penned articles for The Food Network Holiday Survival Guide and The Food Network Summer Grilling Guide.

John Andrews, a real estate developer and YMCA Board Member.

Rebekah Pizana, PR & Marketing professional, food journalist and pastry chef. She writes about local food news and more at iwritegourmet.tumblr.com.

Confirmed Presenters to date are: Athenry Farm, Ayrshire Farm Catering Company, Bungalow Lake House, Chantel's Cakes and Pastries, Cupcakes & Moore, Goodstone Inn & Estate, Market Salamander, National Conference Center, Not Your Average Joe’s, Organic Gold, Simply Cakes by Alison, Sweetz Bakery, Velocity 5 and the Washington Dulles Airport Marriott.

Proceeds support the YMCA Loudoun County’s Caring For Community campaign, which provides essential scholarships and much-needed funds to local Loudoun County families who turn to the YMCA for help. Patron's support enables all families and children the opportunity to participate in quality YMCA Loudoun County programs.
