CountrySide Bank Robbed; Reward Offered As Deputies Seek Suspect

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning in CountrySide.

According to the report, a man entered the Bank of America in the Regal Plaza shopping center shortly after 11 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash and implying he had a weapon.

He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Sheriff's office investigators released a surveillance video still of the suspect. He is a black man, six feet tall with an athletic build, and has a goatee-style beard. He was wearing a black and gray beanie style hat with the numbers 686 on the front and sunglasses. He was also wearing a heavy black jacket and black shirt at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with any information regarding the case or the identity of the suspect is urged to call the Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475. Callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. Crime Solvers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for Information leading to an arrest and indictment.
