Leesburg Woman Faces Murder Charge In Husband's Stabbing Death

A Leesburg woman has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of her husband, who was found dead yesterday in a bedroom of their Chicksaw Place home.

Dae Hwang, 57, is suspected of killing her 63-year-old husband, Kyung Hwang, According to the latest report from the Leesburg Police Department, he suffered multiple stab wounds. There had been no prior calls for police service reported at the home. 

She remains held without bond following an arraignment this morning in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 25. 

The incident was reported at approximately 6:05 a.m. Saturday morning in the 1600 block of Chickasaw Place NE, near the intersection of Battlefield Parkway and Edwards Ferry Road. 

The Leesburg Police Department is being assisted by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office in the investigation.
