Two of the three girls who were reported missing yesterday were found safe last night, but investigators are still searching for the third girl.
Evelyn Diaz, 14, and Stephanie Thomas, 16, were located in Leesburg last night, Loudoun County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Liz Mill confirmed this morning. They have been returned safely. The whereabouts of Zandi Englebrecht, 14, are still unknown and investigators are working to determine where she might be.
Investigators are seeking the public's help in locating Englebrecht, who is believed to be in the Sterling or Leesburg areas.
All three girls were last seen Jan. 9 when they left the county's youth shelter on Meadowview Court south of Leesburg. The three girls were from different areas of the county, but knew each other from the shelter.
Englebrecht is described as white female, 5’6” tall, weighing 135 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
